Collaboration with Global Partners
The Equality Development and Globalization Studies program collaborates with a large network of universities in Southeast Asia, primarily through the Institutes for Advanced Research (IFARs). These Institutes foster research collaboration between scholars within Indonesia, as well as exchange visitor opportunities with international researchers in the social sciences. In February 2025, IFAR Consortium received a delegation from the Buffett Institute for Global Affairs, under which the EDGS program is housed, to strengthen these partnerships and align on the shared goals of deepening collaboration across key academic and governmental institutions, supporting professional exchange opportunities, and building a thriving global research ecosystem.
